THE MYTH OF SHILOH:
Just as it all began in the year 1999; The Lord breathed His voice into the ears of my Spiritual Father: Bishop David Oyedepo saying, “Gather all the People together to me in SHILOH” and by total obedience to that prophetic instruction birth this annual Spiritual movement in the Winners World.
However, as we approach yet another Shiloh, it is important to have a scriptural understanding of what awaits us in Shiloh but First and foremost, what is SHILOH?
Joshua 18:1 lighted our understanding, “And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them”.
Shiloh is a gathering of Spiritual Israelites; it is the gathering of Legends, it is the gathering of Great destinies. I pray that every destiny that will gather in Shiloh this year shall be transformed prophetically in Jesus Name.
WHY SHILOH?
Because it was commanded by the Lord, Gather the People together unto me in Shiloh' in accordance with Genesis 49:10 says, “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be”.
WHAT BENEFITS RESIDES IN SHILOH FOR YOU:
1. Shiloh is a Place for release of your inheritance. Joshua 18:8&10 says, “And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh. "And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions". The Scriptures spake that Joshua divides the inheritance among the Children of Israel. Shiloh is a platform for the release of your long awaited inheritance. This Shiloh all your hanging testimony shall be released unto you in Jesus Name.
2. Shiloh is a place where battles are fought in unity of faith. The scripture speaking says, “And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them." (Joshua 22:12). We all know that there are some spiritual battles they cannot be fought individually; just as one lion cannot bring down a rhinoceros; so also some battles can only be defeated under a strong prophetic gathering of the saints of God. I pray that every battle that has snared your destiny shall be spiritually broken in Shiloh in Jesus name.
3. Shiloh is the platform where the Solitary is set to meet their God's ordained spouses. Judges 21:20-21 says, “Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards; And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin. I decree every one of us looking unto God for martial suitors; this shall be your own Shiloh in Jesus Name. Before Shiloh 2014; God shall settle you with that God ordained spouse in Jesus Name.
4. What awaits us in Shiloh? Shiloh is a place of Sacrifice for a Turn Around. 1 Samuel 1:3 says, “And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh”. Elkanah knew that the only way his family could encounter a transformation is by the mystery of sacrifice in Shiloh through worship to God. This Shiloh shall be your own citadel of divine transformation in Jesus Name. As we all gather under this prophetic covering, we shall all be baptized unto Bishop David Oyedepo in the Cloud and in the sea; we shall eat the same spiritual meat; and drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. (1 Corinthians 10:2-4).
5. What does Shiloh offers us? Shiloh is a place of blessings for Miracle Babies. 1 Samuel 1:6-18&20 says, “And Hannah’s adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD. I pray that every woman present in Shiloh, looking unto God for the fruit of the womb; this Shiloh shall be your own Shiloh. By the end of Hannah’s encounter in Shiloh the scripture testified that her countenance changed and God remembered her. This Shiloh shall be your Shiloh of remembrance in Jesus Name.
6. Shiloh is a Spiritual platform for the revelation of the Word of God. 1 Samuel 3:21 says, “And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD”. Every Word you encounter in Shiloh shall be a Word of visitation and manifestation for you. It takes the Word of God to earn a worth in Life. That is why the scripture says, “How forcible are right words!” (Jobs 6:25); That right word that will trigger definite solution to every blogging issues of your life shall be your encounter this Shiloh in Jesus Name.
7. What benefits awaits us in Shiloh? Shiloh is a platform for the manifest Presence of the Shekhinah Glory of God. 1Samuel 4:3 says, “And when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our enemies. So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God. Shiloh is Zion where God dwells Bodily. Psalms 74:2 says, “Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
These are the seven (7) prophetic mystical Strengths that reside in SHILOH. Therefore, with humbleness of heart and Joy in the Holy Spirit; I invite you to SHILOH 2013 themed, “EXCEEDING GRACE”. This Shiloh shall end every sorrow and burden of your Life in Jesus Name. It shall enlighten your destiny.
